About Me

Hi, I’m Maus Hynes. Based in Maidstone in Kent and with over 30 years of experience in the hat trade, I design and manufacture hats and headdresses for theatrical and wedding clients in Kent, London and throughout the South East, specialising in stage, pantomime, TV, commercials, promotional events and special occasions.

Theatrical Millinery

The ‘Anatomy Crown’ is widely used by wardrobe and costume departments as it proves to be the perfect base for head dresses. Usually made from wool felt, it can be stiffened to suit your design. 

All hats and headdresses are made to order. My most requested hats are:
